Hypnosis helps create change by accessing the subconscious mind — the part responsible for automatic habits, emotional responses, and deeply stored patterns. How Hypnosis Can Help

Hypnosis is a completely natural state of mind that everyone experiences daily, and it is considered safe and effective for people of all ages — including children and adults.

The only exception is for individuals experiencing certain severe psychotic conditions, for whom hypnosis is not recommended.

My approach is centred on giving you a life skill — a way to future-proof yourself by understanding how your mind works and learning how to use that knowledge in your everyday life. When you care for yourself in this way, you become better equipped to handle whatever life brings.

Unlike traditional therapies, Solution-Focused Therapy does not require you to revisit past problems or explore root causes. Not all therapy has to be problem-centred.

If you have tried other therapeutic approaches and still find yourself stuck in old patterns, this is a fresh and empowering alternative. It guides you toward new ways of thinking and equips you with practical, future-focused skills to break free from negative, problem-focused cycles.

I specialise in a unique blend of Solution-Focused Therapy and Hypnosis to help you achieve meaningful change quickly, gently, and effectively.

Hypnosis helps calm and relax the mind, making it easier to improve sleep, ease anxiety, and shift unhelpful behavioural patterns. Because it works directly with the subconscious mind, it can be an effective approach for a wide range of concerns — including sleep difficulties, anxiety, confidence issues, low mood, phobias, and addiction-related behaviours such as smoking, vaping, emotional eating, shopping, or other unhelpful coping strategies.


Your subconscious mind processes information far faster than your conscious awareness. It guides your emotional responses, habits, sleep patterns, and the way you react to stress.

Because it operates automatically, unwanted patterns can become deeply ingrained — even when you consciously want to change them.

Hypnosis helps quiet the analytical part of the mind and opens a pathway to the subconscious, where meaningful, lasting change can happen more efficiently.

I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) from an NCH-recognised, accredited training school, as well as a Level 4 NCFE-accredited Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD), the NCH Gold Standard qualification. As a Full Member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (MNCH reg.), I adhere to their strict professional code of conduct. I am fully insured and hold an Enhanced DBS check, ensuring a safe, ethical, and professional environment for all clients.

The initial consultation is free and gives us an opportunity to connect. During this session, we will discuss how the mind works, explore what you hope to achieve from therapy, and make sure you feel comfortable in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space.


Hypnotic Discovery sample session - this is a gentle, standalone hypnosis experience designed to give you a true taste of what hypnosis feels like. This guided session brings you into a deeply relaxed brain-wave state similar to the restorative rhythm of REM sleep, allowing your mind and body to unwind, reset, and restore. It offers a safe introduction to the calming, healing benefits of hypnosis- helping you experience mental clarity, emotional ease, and a soothing sense of inner balance, even in just a short session.


Sessions are available online via video from the comfort of your own home, using either Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp. If you prefer face-to-face appointments, this can also be arranged—please note that an additional fee applies to cover the cost of hiring a therapy room. In our subsequent sessions, we’ll focus on what’s going well, the goals you want to achieve, and the personal strengths you already have to help you get there. Together, we’ll explore how your mind works and identify the next steps in your journey. Each session ends with a deeply relaxing hypnosis experience.

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness that allows us to work with your subconscious mind. Through gentle, positive reinforcement, I create a bespoke relaxation session tailored specifically to you, helping to embed the changes we explore during our work together. For the best results, I encourage you to listen to your relaxation recording as often as possible between sessions. Think of it as a mini top-up session. The more frequently your subconscious mind receives these helpful, positive suggestions, the more deeply they take root—and the more you’ll experience lasting, meaningful benefits.

As a parent to an autistic child with learning difficulties, my own journey led me to discover the transformational power of hypnotherapy. This experience has not only shaped my practice but deepened my understanding of the challenges families face.

I have first-hand insight into, The EHCP (Education, Health & Care Plan) process. Caring for a child experiencing anxiety or behavioural challenges can significantly affect the emotional wellbeing of both the child and their family.

This personal connection drives my commitment to offering compassionate, practical support to parents, children, and individuals of all ages.
